GTMetrix shows my logo is loading twice and I can’t figure out why that might be.
I’ve uploaded it in the Enfold general settings and don’t have it hard-coded anywhere.
The site, image URLs, and GTMetrix report are in the private content.
In your WordPress Dashboard, go to Enfold > Header > Extra Elements (tab) > Phone Number or small info text, there should be a logo there.
I see, thanks.
These two logo instances originate from the same image in my Media Library.
They do have slightly different URLs, however. I assume this is what’s causing them to load twice – they wouldn’t load twice if it was the exact same URL, right?
If it is the URL difference, I need to identify which optimization plugins (ShortPixel or Autoptimize) is injecting the height specification (w_300,h_100) into the URL, and see if I can change that behavior.
As far as I know that is correct, as long as they are using the same url, it’s only loaded once even if the image is used multiple times in the page.
It’s loaded via cdn, so the plugin which has cdn options should be doing that.
