    If I enrich my site with multiple layered slides, at some point will it have a negative impact on the overall impression of the site, load times, or other consequence?

    Hey!

    Yes sure – especially if you add many image layers to the slider. Simple text layers won’t affect the performance.

    Thanks! what would you say is the tipping point on that? I’d like to run several but, don’t want to impact performance. Would say three slides with four layers each be OK? How far can you take it before it slows down?

    We cannot tell you when it will slow down. It depends on your server speed and the amount of traffic you are getting. :)
