I am in the process of translating a client’s website from English to German. It’s close to being completed, but I noticed that the links on images/buttons have been changed to “Set Manually” and were not updated on the translated pages as a result of this. All of these links on the German pages are pointing to the English pages because of this. I found some posts where other users ran into this issue, but wasn’t able to confirm what the solution is.
I included a link to one of the pages where this is happening below, along with login info for an admin WP user.
The website is quite large and I need to translate it to two more languages soon, so it would be great if I can find out how to fix this. Thanks!

Thanks for the login details. First off, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.8.2) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.
Best regards,

I updated the theme to the latest version, but that didn’t change anything with the links.

RikardMay 13, 2021 at 7:41 pm #1300191Hi Rikard,
Sorry about that. Can you try the info below?I have been speaking to WPML as well and they were able to show me how to update the links. But it still requires me to manually do it for each link, which is what I was hoping not to do. So I really hope there is a way to update them without doing that and make sure they are updated correctly when we translate the website to the other languages.
Here’s a link to the WPML support post:

Thanks!
May 16, 2021 at 8:23 am #1300512Hi,
Thanks for the update. I’m not sure we can do much about that unfortunately, if they need to be updated manually. When exactly did this problem occur? Also, are you sure that the problem is theme related? We haven’t had any other users report this problem, so it might be related to WPML only.
Best regards,
RikardMay 17, 2021 at 4:35 pm #1300778Hi Rikard,
It happened when the pages were translated. I did find a WPML support post where someone else had this happened:May 19, 2021 at 1:35 pm #1301201I have an update on this. When I edit the translation for the pages with these links, then save it, the links on the images/buttons automatically update. I didn’t need to manually update each link. So everything is resolved now.

Great, I’m glad that you found a solution, and thanks for the update. Please let us know if you should need any further help on the topic or if we can close it.

RikardAugust 17, 2022 at 7:48 pm #1361998Hello. I’m running into this issue again when we just translated the same website to Spanish. Unfortunately when I try to edit/save the translation for these pages and fix/update the links, it doesn’t work. Is this a known issue or something that has been resolved in another support topic? Fixing the links individually on the website is going to be very time consuming. So any help with this would be appreciated.
