Layslider content scales on larger screens

I’m experiencing that my layerslider content, e.g. in a cover photo in my Enfold theme, is being rather scaled too big when I go from my standard macbook screen to my 27:9 1440 wide screen in my office. It looks awful when the text gets too big and it would therefore be ideal if I could lock the content of the layerslider to a specific max size – is it possible and if yes, how?
