Layoutbuilder missing in Enfold when adding new page - Support

Hi!

I have the same problem as this: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/advanced-layout-builder-not-working-after-upgrade/

Basically, the advanced layoutbuilder is missing in Enfold when I add a new page. I can’t make it appear for some reason. I have disable the WP All Import – doesnt work. I have WordPress 5.5 .

Inviso has asked if I’ve tried to “deactivate all plugins”? Not sure how to do this without causing havoc to the page. Can you please have a look, login posted in Private:

Hey Anna,

Thanks for contacting us!

You are currently using a very old version of Enfold, 4.1.2, which is not compatible with your WordPress and PHP versions.
Please update Enfold to the latest version 4.7.6.4 – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/ and then refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/ and insert Personal Token in Enfold theme options to receive future updates :)

My webhost has sent me the new Enfold theme, but where can I attach the zip file?

Sorry, this guide on how to update to new Enfold is from 2013. It doesnt look like that anymore. I have tried via FTP as per above link you sent, it doesn’t work. When you go back to WordPress after having “pulled” the Enfold theme from Local site (my desktop) to Remote site (WordPress) as showed, it still doesn’t give me the option to update anywhere.

Hi Anna,

Sorry for the problem. The update to 4.7.x has to be done manually from the version you are running. You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
