Layerslider not advancing to next slide

I have a slideshow set up in Layerslider with three slides, but when I go to the page that the slider is on, the slideshow doesn’t work. When I click on the arrows, play button, pause button, or the dots, nothing happens.

On a side note, I have discovered that if I click on “select transitions” from the Layerslider admin for this slideshow, it makes the screen go dark and no window appears. I have to either close the window or go back in order to get out of it.

I tried re-installing the enfold parent theme and that fixed the issue!
