Hello,
The LayerSlider has been working fine for previous 5-6 years and has just stopped showing on the Home Page of the site. (See private link)
All of the themes, plugins and WP are up to date, and I have tried deactivating all plugins and that didn’t work. I also enabled WP classic editor in the Theme Options but that didn’t work either.
I hope you can help solve the issue! Thanks

Do you have any slides activated? There doesn’t appear to be any.

Thanks for that. I removed the element, then added it back again and it’s working as it should on my end now. Please review your site.

RikardOctober 25, 2019 at 3:24 pm #1151226Hi Rikard,
I have checked the site, and it is not showing up in Safari, however it does show in Chrome. I have a screenshot to show you if you like? I did try what you said you did before but that didn’t fix he issue in Safari.
It obviously needs to show in all browsers, so your help here would be appreciated.
Thanks
SueOctober 25, 2019 at 3:42 pm #1151232Hi Rikard,
After researching this issue and trying a few things out, I have managed to get it working on Safari by enabling the “always load all JavaScript files” option in the advanced layerslider options.
I am a little worried about it slowing down performance but the slider is at least showing up now.
Is there anything I can do to improve performance/loading times?
Thanks

Thanks for the update, but the slider is still showing up fine on my end using Safari. Are you sure that you are not getting locally cached results?
You can try to keep your images as small as possible in the slider in order to improve load times.

As I mentioned in my previous message I was able to get it working in Safari by enabling the option for LayerSlider “always load all JavaScript files”.
Initially I did empty all my local caches, but that didn’t solve the issue, however the fix mentioned above did, so it is all sorted now.
Thank you for your suggestion re loading/performance enhancements.
