    Hey,

So I am having issues with adding an Advanced Layer Slider element to the homepage. All I am getting is a blank/white section where the LS should show up. However, when I create a new, blank page and only add the LS element, it populates fine.

I’ve gone through many different avenues of troubleshooting with no luck so far. Here’s what I’ve crossed off:
    – Deactivated all plugins (renamed plugins folder)
    – Deleted all previous LayerSliders via database
    – Set both layerslider & layerslider-animation files (both JS and CSS) to be ignored in BWP Minify and not minified
    – On the homepage (where I am trying to place the LS) I’ve deactivated any Parallax functionality within Color Sections

If support would be willing to check it out, I’ve attached temporary admin credentials via the Private Content section.

    Thanks guys!

    Hi murphy88!

Thank you for using the theme.

Is it ok if we deactivate all plugins while working on the site? You have a lot of plugins installed and one of these might be causing the issue. There are script errors on the console which is probably cause by a third party plugin.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

Yes, that is fine as the site is not live. I’ve already done so but still wasn’t working for me.

If you create a new page and ONLY add the Advanced Layer Slider element, it works fine.

But when I try to add the ALS on the homepage (with other content), all that appears is a white section.

    Hey Cameron!

I believe this is issue is related to server limitations (PHP), try changing the allocated memory to PHP and the max_input_vars setting.

    Cheers!

    Josue,
php memory limit is set to 256M
    max_input_vars is set to 10000

I don’t think the issue is there. I believe it is some confliction specific to that page. When I run the Advanced Layer Slider on a fresh page by itself, it works just fine (other than ignoring the max-width I’ve set @ 1030px — dispalys full-width).

I skimmed through CSS and saw nothing targeting my homepage (i.e. with page-id-xxxx) that would have any display:none; or visibility:hidden; properties set.

    Any other ideas?

    Hi!

Yes, i’ve seen that before, basically the problem is with a certain combination of elements in the same page (+ layerslider), i’ll try to do some tests with the access you provided.

    Best regards,
    Josue
