    I’ve got the same issue on this site:

    There was a big slider in the middle, where I now have a banner, because I couldn’t leave it broken.

    But you can see the bottom Recent Posts link isn’t working either – and it’s using the slider as well.

    1) I’ve checked the settings to make sure Google’s CDN version of jquery is checked on in the LayerSlider configuration.
    2) I’ve checked the console for a javascript error. There is one, but it’s related to something else, and I don’t think it should impact this.
    3) I’ve made sure the skins path is correct.
    4) I wasn’t able to disable the BuddyPress plugin and test it, but other than that, I did try disabling all the OTHER plugins, testing the slider with each one. It never worked.

    I’m out of ideas on what to try, so I’m hoping you’ll have an answer for this.

    Update on my previous submission. I did notice that the img src is showing as blank.gif when I try to use the Advanced Layerslider, but the data src has the actual image. Still doesn’t show of course, because the img src is blank.

    Hey!


    @jonlebkowsky    : Please create another thread then post the login credentials there. You have a lot of plugins installed, one of them might be causing the issue. Please try to deactivate all plugins then test it again.

    I am having the same issue and nothing is working.

    Enfold 3.0.2
    Wordpress 4.0.1

    I am using the Fullwidth Easy SLider. I have tried the Fullscreen Slider and the Easy Slider, neither are working. The Image element works but I need the slider to work.

    What else can I try?

    I have tried this and it didn’t work for me:
    It’s in /enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/includes/slider_markup_init.php, line 36:

    Hey @jonlebkowsky

    From what I can tell: you are using an Easy Slider, not the Layerslider. Your problem is related to the fact that the recent WordPress 4.01 update that was rolled out automatically breaks a few of our shortcodes. Your theme version is 2.9.2, once you update to version 3.04 (the latest one) all should be good.

    Since this thread is no longer maintainable, got hijacked with various different problems now and the actual title does not reflect the problem anymore I am going to close it now. If anyone still has issues after updating wordpress, as well as the theme to the latest version please open a new thread in the forum ;)
