I just bought it, but somehow it won’t install? I got 2 files
themeforest-5LLjEaDB-enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme.zip
themeforest-8193lXmk-enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme.zipBut both trigger the same error when I try to install (different filenames, but the same)
I don’t know what to do – please help! Thank you
November 18, 2025 at 12:49 am #1491425I don’t see the images – will this work?

November 18, 2025 at 5:51 am #1491431Hi,
Thank you for the inquiry.
You need to extract the enfold.zip file from the initial package and upload that file to your WordPress installation. Please check this documentation for more information.
We also recommend activating a child theme.

If you have any further questions, please let us know.

IsmaelNovember 18, 2025 at 1:29 pm #1491467I had it before, but lost the license key and I can’t update to the latest version without it. I bought it again (and WON’T lose the key this time!), can I simply enter the key somewhere, to avoid everything else (uninstall then reinstall, and hope it works).
Thank you!
November 18, 2025 at 1:39 pm #1491468I just tried to find where to enter the key, if you say that I can, and can’t find either the key nor where to enter it! Help!?!
November 18, 2025 at 1:51 pm #1491469I found the code, but don’t know where to install – help?
November 18, 2025 at 4:44 pm #1491472I asked who wrote it, on here ( http://themeforest.net/user/kriesi ), but I’ll also ask here. The site is fully-populated, and the theme-options are pretty full – is there a way that I can enter the purchase code to what’s there, or will i need to export, erase everything, and install the new one to go forward? I figure there’s a way to simply enter the code, because the theme is second-to-none on the awesome scale!
November 18, 2025 at 5:01 pm #1491475Hi,
Thanks for the update. Please follow this to register your theme license: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Best regards,
RikardNovember 18, 2025 at 5:09 pm #1491476I feel REALLY dumb, because I don’t understand what to do there.
November 18, 2025 at 5:20 pm #1491478Ok, I have a token, but I’m not sure where to enter it, to enable support. Geez, talk about being dumb.
November 18, 2025 at 5:31 pm #1491479I’m trying to find my ThemeForest “Your Themeforest API Key”, but even though I found the help page that has a picture of where it is, mine doesn’t look like that, and I don’t have a clue,
I don’t know what to do, someone please help me understand.
November 19, 2025 at 1:33 am #1491487I got the code entered – does this mean I can update the PHP, to avoid what happened before?
November 19, 2025 at 1:50 pm #1491514Hi,
Thanks for the update. PHP is software installed on your server, you would update it via your hosting providers backend.
Best regards,
RikardNovember 19, 2025 at 3:46 pm #1491519Better than awesome, THANK YOU, because the stress was starting to get to me (not really, but I was starting to wonder ;) )
November 19, 2025 at 5:48 pm #1491521Again, I’m sorry for being a pain, but entering it where I did didn’t work. I asked that the PHP be rolled back, and it totally doesn’t work!?!
. Could someone please help me understand how I can somehow enter the credentials so that the plug-in will somehow update itself for it to work after the PHP is updated?
I don’t know why the link doesn’t seem to work <sigh>

November 19, 2025 at 6:04 pm #1491525The domain is back up, but what I’d entered still wasn’t right so the PHP isn’t the latest. I thought that where I’d put it would enable the update that would make the PHP upgade work, but it didn’t. I have no idea what to do and would love some help.
November 19, 2025 at 7:35 pm #1491528I’m lost, and don’t know what to do. I bought the support element for it, but what I’m going to ask likely exceeds it. Is there some way that I can hire someone to fix this, because I’m pretty sure that I’m not swift enough to.
November 19, 2025 at 10:02 pm #1491534Hi,
Sorry that you are having issues, but I see a couple of different issues with your site. First, you site is using v4.1.2, which uses the old Envato (theme forest) API key, I also note that you wrote that your API key is not working. This will not work because Envato has changed to a “token” tha you must login to your Envato account and create.
You should download the latest installable WP version from your Theme Forest account and upload it to your WordPress ▸ Appearance ▸ Themes ▸ Add Themes ▸ Add New
after you choose the zip file and click install, you will see a This theme is already installed message because you are updating, you can continue
then you will see the Theme updated successfully message.
Please do this type of install instead of FTP, unless you delete all files and upload fresh via FTP, otherwise old files will be left behind and cause errors.
I also note that you are using PHP (7.3.33), WordPress requires v8+ now, so after to update the theme, also update your PHP. Please ensure that you create a full backup of yoursite files & database first, we don’t expect issues, but a full backup is the best course of action.
I hope this helps, plase let us know if you need further assistance.Best regards,
MikeNovember 19, 2025 at 10:41 pm #1491537I’ll follow what you’d written very closely, and do it exactly as you described – THANK YOU!!
November 19, 2025 at 11:01 pm #1491538I’m at Token Creation Page For Enfold WordPress Themes I’m trying, but I honestly can’t figure out how to make a proper token. <sigh>
November 19, 2025 at 11:22 pm #1491539I think I’m an idiot, because what’s seemingly simple (because you say it matter-of-fact “This will not work because Envato has changed to a “token” that you must login to your Envato account and create.”) I can’t figure out how to. I’ve been trying for a while now, but I honestly can’t figure out what to do.
More about what I’d meant. I don’t know which one to choose, because there seems to be a LOT of them.

November 20, 2025 at 1:12 am #1491544I’m an idiot. Where the token needs to be added it says “Attention: The old Envato API is deprecated and will be shut down soon. In order to be able to use automated theme updates please generate a new valid API token and enter it above. Your themeforest username and your old API key will then be removed from your installation since they are no longer required.:”, so I generated a new one, what I thought would work – but these are what it said.
Last time we checked the token we were not able to connected to Envato:
Purchases could not be accessed
Username could not be accessed (needed for your information only)
E-Mail could not be accessed (needed for your information only)
Following errors occurred:Purchases: Errorcode 403 returned by Envato: Forbidden:
– response_code: 403
– reason: scope-missing
username Errorcode 403 returned by Envato: Forbidden:
– code: not_authenticated
email Errorcode 403 returned by Envato: Forbidden:
– code: not_authenticated
Purchases: A problem occurred accessing your purchases. Unable to check for updates.<sigh> I’m likely getting to be a bit annoying, but what should I do?
November 20, 2025 at 2:03 am #1491545Wahoo, took a shot selecting everything – and it worked!
We checked the token on 2025/11/20 01:03 and we were able to connect to Envato and could access the following information:
Your purchases
Your username: RobertWein
Your E-Mail: R*****@We**.ca-

November 20, 2025 at 8:51 am #1491564Hi,
Thanks for the update. So everything is working as it should now then?
Best regards,
RikardNovember 20, 2025 at 12:54 pm #1491576Two things achieved, one is good but the other is awesome. First, the plugin seems to be working (haven’t had the PHP updated yet, but it’ll work) and what’s awesome about what happened was that I realized that I’m NOT stupid, I simply didn’t know what to do, and when nearly done I hit something I deduced what to do, and it worked. This ticket is close-able, thank you (a lot!)
Oh, one question – is there an online way to enter the purchase number, or will it only be on your end? If so, will you send a reminder when the coverage will expire, because this has proven its value.

November 20, 2025 at 1:18 pm #1491579Actually, one more. I checked the contact form, that uses Contact-Form-7 and this is still showing. Is that because PHP hasn’t been upgraded yet, or something else?
Questions: Please fill out our Contact form. Remember, you are welcome to attend our next meeting.
