    Hi,
    We have a client using a child theme and Enfold version 3.6.1.
    I am looking to upgrade them to the most recent version 4.4. Can we simply purchase a license and upgrade without any additional work (ie will the jump in version cause any issues?)

    Hey Mark Donegan,
    Yes the upgrade should be possible without any additional work. However I’d recommend to make a database and file (i.e via ftp) backup to be on the safe side.

    Hi,

    Yes, you can then download the latest version of Enfold from themeforest.net. You can also generate an api key (issued by themeforest/Envato) to activate the theme update feature (Enfold > Theme Options > Update).

    Yes I think this should work. If not please install the 4.4.1 update via ftp ( https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#ftp-install ).
