issues with video in fullscreen slider

Hi,
Ive been trying to build a fullscreen slideshow that includes one video using the fullscreen slider.
So far ive run ive run into 2 issues that are preventing me from creating the content they way i want.

1) The first slide is a video slide. When using a self hosted video file, the video plays first time as expected then the slideshow moves through the slide but when it loops at the end of the slideshow the video caption appears but not the video. this also stops the slideshow rotating at this point. Is there a known fix for this?

2) I also tied using a vimeo link to the same video. When the page loads the video loads and plays once, then stops on a blank screen causing the slidshow auto rotate to break and stop moving forward. Is this a known bug? Is there any way to get streamed videos to play as part of a slideshow?

videos are set to auto play
auto rotation is active
hide video controlls is on
Mute, loop & diable auto pay are off
