    Hi all,

    I hope you are all keeping well.

    I have recently used the Enfold theme to update my website http://www.intalex.uk and I have been having a couple of issues that I can’t seem to figure out.

    Mobile Menu
    The dropdown doesn’t allow selection of the parent pages, it only opens the dropdown. Is there a way to force this to open the page?

    Testimonials Pagination (Home Page)
    Clicking the pagination scrolls the page down. The same issue is present when using Accordions for FAQ’s. I have tried disabling the other plugins but the issue still persists.

    In addition to this I haven’t been able to use the backend editor on the site for awhile now. I am not sure if it is a conflict with the WP Bakery builder plugin as that seems to have been registered to a different domain maybe when the site was initially built. I do have a local copy of the site from a few months ago that doesn’t appear to have this problem.

    Any help with this will be much appreciated.

    Hey intalex-admin,

    Mobile menu; you can see the available options under Enfold->Main Menu->Burger/Mobile Menu->Menu Icon Submenu items. It’s not possible for the top level elements to have two different click states unfortunately.

    Testimonials; could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.8.6.2) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.

    Hi Rikard,

    Thanks for your response. I guess the only option for the mobile menu is having everything open by default. Not ideal but I don’t see any other options.

    With regards to the testimonials and FAQ’s, I have updated the theme on our staging site now and the result is the same. You can see this here – https://intalex-staging.onyx-sites.io/

    Username and Password for access is the same as the above Private Data.

    Please let me know your thoughts as it is important for us to fix the testimonials and FAQ’s issue ASAP.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update.

    Burger menu; if you select the option to open sub menus on click, then you will get an option to create clones of the main menu items into the sub menu, maybe that would be an option for you?

    Testimonials; I wasn’t aware that you had created your site with WP Bakery. We can’t provide support for third party layout builders unfortunately, please try reaching out to the developers of that plugin, to see if they can spot the problem for you.

    Hi Rikard,

    For now we have gone with keeping the submenus open by default but only showing the first level on mobile.

    With regards to WP Bakery page builder. I just installed the Enfold theme onto an existing website, so I assume the page builder was already installed on it.

    Can you confirm, is Enfold meant to come with it’s own page builder or a different one to WP Bakery page builder?

    I have recently noticed some issues with the backend editor that didn’t happen when I first installed the theme so I think there might be a conflict somewhere.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. Enfold comes with its own layout builder, yes. If you create a new page, then you will see a blue button reading Advanced Layout Editor. If you click on that, it should load the Enfold Layout Builder, so that you can check it out. Enfold does not have official support for any third party layout builders unfortunately.
