Hi,
I downloaded the Enfold theme, installed it and immediately received the following error message which locked me out of the WP admin dashboard./home3/emrisprop/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/php/class-grecaptcha.php
From reading in the forum, I have seen that this can be an issue perhaps when the latest version of WP is not installed prior to upload of the theme, however due to the error message preventing me from logging back in to WP, I could no longer return to update to the latest WP version.
My domain and hosting is with Hostgator so I tried to manually upload the latest WP version via CPanel & also delete the theme here, however this has now caused additional error messages (please see below) and I can’t get into the site via wp-admin myself – and so will be unable to provide temporary admin access for assistance.Current error messages:
Warning: require(/home3/emrisprop/public_html/wp-includes/version.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home3/emrisprop/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 33
Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘/home3/emrisprop/public_html/wp-includes/version.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/php54/lib/php’) in /home3/emrisprop/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 33
Please can you advise where we can go from here to rectify the issue.
Many thanks,
Rob Wright.

Can you give us both admin access and FTP access on your site?
Just post the credentials in private content.Best regards,
NikkoJune 29, 2020 at 5:51 pm #1226537Hi Nikko,
Thanks for the quick response.I have resolved the issue on hostgator and essentially restored everything back to the initial settings so we now have no fatal error message – it is just a brand new domain, with a fresh wordpress account (.org), and the theme has been removed so I am ready to upload the theme file for a second attempt.
I am concerned about the fatal error recurring. Last time it happened I was completely locked out of WP – so would not have been able to give anyone admin access, as I couldn’t get in either. I had to rectify the issue through file manager and delete the theme.
For re-upload and a second attempt, are there any essential WP requirements I need to be aware of prior to upload? I am currently running WP version 5.4.2 which I understand is the latest version.
Many thanks,
Rob
June 29, 2020 at 10:29 pm #1226613Hi,
Just to update. I reinstalled with the new WP version and it worked fine so this post can be marked as closed. I have another query but I will start a new thread.
Many thanks,
Rob
June 30, 2020 at 10:57 am #1226683Hi Rob,
We’re glad to hear that :)
Just to answer your previous question, as far as I know this is the minimum requirement:- PHP version 7.0 or greater
- MySQL version 5.6 or greater
- HTTPS support
You can check our full documentation for hosting requirement here: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/hosting-requirement
Thanks for using Enfold and have a great day!
Best regards,
Nikko -
