I am slightly paranoid about files being overwritten when I next upgrade so I have a couple of questions:

Is Quick CSS code overwritten on upgrade? Or is it better to edit style.css.

I have a fonts folder containing @font-face fonts. Where should this be located ideally? At present mine is in directly in WP-Content. Is this the correct place to store fonts? Or is it safer within the enfold-child folder?
I am seeing various suggestions on this forum.

Please can you can help clarify?

    Hey Fionadee!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

The Quick CSS field will not be overwritten when you update the theme but if you want a bullet proof update, use a child theme then add the css modifications in the style.css file. Creating a backup won’t hurt either.

    Cheers!

    That’s great thanks for clarification.
Any advice on my other question, which is the best place to store @font-face fonts folder?

    Hey!

I don’t think there’s an ideal folder for you to place them, but the root folder tends to get a bit messy with a lot of files so maybe you could put them in a folder called font or something like that?

    Cheers!
