Hi – on fuguestatefilms.co.uk woocommerce will not work – it works fine with the 2020 theme, and only causes error 500 when Enfold is activated. Admin details included.
October 23, 2020 at 5:04 pm #1255307Any update here? Sorry? I’m not sure what to expect in terms of turnaround?
October 23, 2020 at 6:23 pm #1255319I’ve had to roll back to the previous version of woocommerce which seems to work – version 4.5.2
Can you please let me know if there’s a bug with the new version of wooOctober 25, 2020 at 5:50 am #1255454Hi,
Sorry for the problem. I see that you are running an old version of the theme, could you try to update to the latest version (4.7.6.4) to see if that helps please? The update to 4.7.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Best regards,
RikardOctober 25, 2020 at 11:33 am #1255477Thanks – the error was with the latest version of Enfold and woocommerce – the version you see now is a result of me having to go back to a working update, it was the only way the site would function. I had done the site update manually and the site was registered.
I had Enfold 4.7.6.4 and woocommerce latest versio 4.6.1 (I think) running – woocommerce and mailchimp for woocommerce failed to work with Enfold – they worked ok with the TwentyTwenty theme.
October 26, 2020 at 4:26 pm #1255758The theme is updated now – I will not install woo commerce because I know it will crash the site. Can someone please investigate any potential conflicts? I can’t leave the site live and broken because your response time is very long!

October 28, 2020 at 1:16 pm #1256359Hi Tallnick,
We apologize for the delayed response.
I have tried to reproduce the issue on my end using WP 5.5.1, Enfold 4.7.6.4, Woocommerce 4.6.1 and Mailchimp for Woocommerce 2.4.7.
I tried to look also for error_logs but there’s none generated on your site which should be helpful for us to find the cause of the issue.
Can you give us FTP access? so we can try to troubleshoot further.
If it’s also possible to setup a staging site, so we can try to troubleshoot the issue without affecting your live site.
Here’s a simple tutorial on how to do it: https://themeisle.com/blog/wordpress-staging-site/Best regards,
NikkoOctober 29, 2020 at 12:58 am #1256542There will be a staging site shortly on staging.fuguestatefilms.co.uk same credentials.
October 29, 2020 at 5:42 am #1256573Hi Tallnick,

November 3, 2020 at 9:08 am #1257900Hi,
Thanks for that. I see that you are running the latest version of the theme on the staging site, and WooCommerce is activate. I can’t see any obvious problems with the site though, is there a sure way of reproducing the problem you are having?
Best regards,
Rikard -
