    Hi
    I just bought the Enfold – Responsive Multi-Purpose Theme
    I tried to upload it and got this error message.
    ”The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

    Theme installation failed.”
    Could you please tell me or send me a video link to explain to me all the different steps to follow in order to solve the issue.

    Hey Mihou,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    Please be aware that the theme’s actual zip file is located within the Themeforest package. You need to extract the Enfold or theme zip file from the package you downloaded from Themeforest, before uploading it to your WordPress installation.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

    Looks like the theme is already uploaded to the site but it’s not active yet. Please create a site backup or restore point, then try to manually activate the Enfold theme in the Appearance > Themes panel.

    You should be able to do that through your hosting provider, or via a plugin.
