    Hello,

I downloaded what I presume is the latest version of Enfold from the Theme Forest page.

I’m running Enfold 4.41 and have not been able to install any of the updates since then. WordPress also wants me to update. I’m hoping the new version solves the updating problems many have run into.

Seeing Rikard’s post in support about using a plug in to upload the new theme: use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/ – I uploaded it and tried to update the Enfold Theme.

I’m getting this message: The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.

Not sure how to fix the problem and would love an easy way to update the Enfold theme.

    Thanks,

    Bob Carey

    Hey Bob,

Sorry for the problem. That means that the theme is larger than the maximum allowed file size on your WordPress installation, you can get that changed with your hosting provider. If you don’t want to change that then please upload the theme manually via FTP instead: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
