    I am not sure if anyone else is experiencing this but the instagram widget that comes with enfold stopped worked and now displays an error message in the admin view that says “Instagram has returned invalid data.”

    i provided the link and credentials at the bottom.

    Hi jgax87,

    You need to install and activate Smash Balloon Social Photo Feed plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/instagram-feed/ and authorize your account in plugin settings. After that, you can use Instagram element in Plugin Additions tab of Advanced Layout Builder or Instagram Smash Balloon widget in Appearance > Widgets :)

    yeah I did that. Any particular reason why the enfold IG feed doesnt work? I had it on a few sites i’ve designed. I had to change it out on all of them.

    Hi,

    We had to remove the old widget and replace it with the plugin integration because of the new authorization or authentication requirement by the Instagram API — scraping is no longer allowed and fetching data will now require an API key. Unfortunately, you will have to replace the old widgets with the current one.
