Hi there, Instagram feeds across all of our sites have stopped working today.

    Error message:

    Errors found:
    Instagram has returned invalid data.

We have re-entered and re-saved the Instagram usernames, and the usernames are correct.

    How can we fix this?

    Hey AusWeb,

Which Enfold are you running? We had the issue with way older versions and also it can be the issue on the Instagram side.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

Hi Victoria, thanks for your reply. Yes everything (WP, Enfold, plugins) is up to date.

Any ideas? Is this happening on any other Enfold sites that you know of?

    Hi,

Could you post login details in private so that we can look at the actual page you linked to please? It seems to be in maintenance mode.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Sure – sorry about that!

    Hi,

Your site is in maintenance mode, that is likely why it’s not working. Please try to disable that.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Hi, thanks for your reply. I appreciate the support but I feel like this is a brush-off answer. If you look at the posts above, you’ll see I mentioned that it is happening across all of our sites, not just this one, including sites that are live, on a dev URL, and in maintenance mode. The issue was occurring even when the site was not in maintenance mode.

Here are a handful of other sites where this is happening.

    http://shop.auswebcreative2.com.au/

    And many more.

As you see there is nothing in common with these sites, they are all either dev URL or live URL, HTTP or HTTPS, and none are in maintenance mode.

    Any ideas?

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

We encountered the a thread with this very same issue the other day. Unfortunately, we are not sure what’s causing the issue. We do know that the scraper is not getting the required JSON data. The same instagram account works fine on a localhost. Have you tried removing the database transients?

Or try to delete the instagram folder in the wp-content directory, then update the widget.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
