Whys is this happening? It doesn’t happen with my other sites. Only the site that uses Enfold. Take a look at this screencast:

    Anyone?

Not sure why this happens. Enfold does not link to the wp-content/themes/ directory directly but we just load css/js files from the directory and a js var (wrapped in a cdata tag) points to the directory. The web crawlers should ignore this path. Personally I’d suggest to use a robots.txt to exclude the directory from the search index.

Thanks – but google has already indexed those pages so using robots.txt would only prevent future crawling. But yes, I have had a robots.txt since a couple of days excluding the directory.

    Hey!

Afaik there’s no direct way to remove search results from the google cache. You can only try to re-upload a new sitemap.xml (i.e. use Yoast SEO to generate it).

    Best regards,

    Peter
