    Hello, I have tried and tried to import demo but all it does is say, “Importing didn’t work! You might want to try reloading the page and then try again.” I have also tried several different demos but all do the same thing.

    Is there a way to import demo via FTP?

    Hey imsleepy,

    Defining a higher memory limit in wordpress and if possible increasing the memory on the hosting server should resolve this issue.

    To increase the wordpress memory limit please access wp-config.php file and add the below line 

    define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');

    For a detailed explaination please check this link http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
    and you can contact your service provider to increase the memory limit.

    Alternatively demo data can be imported using XML file from Admin > Tools > Import > WordPress
    Make sure to check the option “Download and import file attachments” while importing.

    Please note this will not import the theme settings you may need to set them up and upload if any images are missing from backend once the XML file is imported.

    None of the above is working. Updated the config file. Still same error.

    Tried importing XML got this error
    “Sorry, there has been an error.
    File is empty. Please upload something more substantial. This error could also be caused by uploads being disabled in your php.ini or by post_max_size being defined as smaller than upload_max_filesize in php.ini.”

    Obviously the file is not empty.

    I have to say I have never encountered a more difficult template to use and I have been developing websites since 1997. I can write html, php etc myself but honestly I am old and tired and just want to point and click which is why I purchase templates for last few years. I just want it to work. I don’t want to rewrite it.

    I completely reinstalled. Still facing same problems but uploaded the XML. Seems to be working to some degree. I am using Hotel theme. Can you tell me where I can change the lacy looking background corners to another image or simply delete it altogether?

    I will not be using WooCommerce. I will be using Beds24 plugin (hopefully compatible) however, I notice on the Welcome page no rooms appear I guess because I am not using WooCommerce? How would I add rooms to show on Welcome page?

    I have the same problem, when i try to import demo for “restaurant one page” – nothing to do. I try to import xml file for demo but i have error:
    Import WordPress
    Failed to import
    Failed to import “burger”: Invalid post type
    Failed to import “cheese”: Invalid post type
    Failed to import “fruit”: Invalid post type
    Failed to import “pasta”: Invalid post type
    Failed to import “pizza”: Invalid post type
    Failed to import “avia_logo”: Invalid post type
    Failed to import “avia_favicon”: Invalid post type
    Failed to import “avia_custom_background_image”: Invalid post type
    Failed to import “avia_transparency_logo”: Invalid post type
    Failed to import “avia_favicon”: Invalid post type

    Failed to import “avia_template_builder_snippets”: Invalid post type

    please help me what i need to do to import demo and my site to look like your demo.

    Hi,

    Please reset the data using a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-database-reset/ which will remove all old data and try again.

    Hi,
    I installed plugin for database reset and reset it but the problem is the same.
    In private content i give you Login credentials with full administrative acces.

    Hi,

    contact your host about the issue and tell them to increase your php memory limit on your server. Increase it to 256MB.

    If this does not help there might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works:

    Install Enfold over FTP

    Also re-installing WP might help.
