Can’t import the demo for Enfold 2017.

“Download of files for demo Enfold 2017 didn’t work!
You might want to try reloading the page and then try again.”

Even though I have the PHP limit to 256M and also the wp-config.php is 256M

    How can I fix it?

    Hey RobbyK,

Thanks for the login details. I’m seeing a 500 internal server error on the file in private when trying to import a demo. Could you share server error logs with us please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    There are no errors.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

Where is the site hosted? You may need to ask your hosting provider to whitelist the http://kriesi.at/ (85.13.136.225) site so that your server can properly retrieve the demo files.

You can also import the demo manually using an XML file. Please check the documentation below for more info.

    // https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/import-demos/#how-to-import-a-theme-demo

And regarding the error logs, please make sure that the default WP error logs are enabled, as described in the documentation below.

    Best regards,

Due to security issues they said they cannot whitelist all ports for that IP. What ports do you need?

    #1421685

    Hi,
Try the ports 80 and 443.
The only other solution that would probably work is for you to import the demo on a localhost and use the plugin duplicator and then install the clone on your server.

I managed to import manually but after import I get an error from the LayerSlider that comes built in the theme

<b>Notice</b>: LayerSlider skin “v6” not found. Defaulting to “noskin”. in <b>/home/csmlugoj/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/assets/classes/class.ls.sources.php</b> on line <b>100</b><br />

    Can you help?

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

Did you import a demo slider? Looks like one of the existing sliders is using a custom skin. You can edit the slider and make sure that the Project Settings > Appearance > Skin is set to default (Fullwidth or Noskin).

    Best regards,
    Ismael

I looked and it’s already Fullwidth. Where can I check other settings?

    #1423496

    Hi,

Do you still see the notice? Please note that the log above is not critical, so it shouldn’t affect the site or cause any errors.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

I switched to a different layerslider and I get this
b>Warning</b>: Undefined array key “url” in <b>/home/csmlugoj/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/postslider/postslider.php</b> on line <b>890</b><br />

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update.

Did you install the Layer Slider as a plugin? You may need to set the Enfold > Layout Builder > Integrated (Bundled) LayerSlider Plugin settings to the second option to disable the default layer slider.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

I tryed, Doesn t work. It deactives completely LayerSlider

    #1423617

    Hi,
If you are not using the LayerSlider pro plugin, please re-enable the theme settings for the built-in layerslider to be used and then try updating the theme to v5.6.8, which came out today (10-24) as it has Layerslider 7.9.1, perhap it will solve the LayerSlider error you are seeing.

    Best regards,
    Mike
