How can I insert pictures into any of the image galleries in Enfold when the images are hosted off server, such as on Picasaweb or Flickr? Our organization has thousands of images that we want galleries smattered about on the various pages, but I don’t want to host them on my server due to size/space/bandwidth limitations.

I uploaded a plugin that would do the hook up, but when using the gallery function within Enfold it doesn’t connect or show the outside service.

Is there a plugin you can recommend that will permit this?

    Hi!

    Try this plugin:

That appears to take an image and upload/save it to your server. I already have ownership of all my images. I do not want to host them. There are plugins like Media Manager Plus that puts Flickr/Picasa/Google as part of the selection in the wordpress gallery but keeps them on that service. However it does not work with the built in function of Enfold’s gallery.

I’m afraid that’s not possible right now with Avia media elements unfortunately, please refer to Kriesi answer here:

Sad news, that. I can use the default WordPress gallery but of course that isn’t styled or function the same. I need a solution as our organization is huge, and the amount of pictures we produce every year is massive. There’s not enough server space or bandwidth to accommodate.

    Hi!

Unfortunately we don’t have a solution for you in this case. Theme isn’t suited to having a massive amount of images hosted off server but if its a must-have feature you can have the theme customized to allow it by a freelance developer.

    Best regards,
    Devin
