I am using a plugin to display property listings called Real Estate Pro (https://codecanyon.net/item/real-estate-pro-wordpress-plugin/13245602) and ran into an issue when clicking on the buttons to add a featured image or images to the image gallery for a listing. When you click on the buttons, nothing happens. I contacted the plugin developer and he said it was an issue with the latest version of Enfold and referenced this post:
I see that post is from 2018, so it would be an issue with a previous version of the theme. But I think the same thing is happening here. I am using version 4.7.5 of Enfold on our staging copy of the website and the image upload option in the plugin works fine. The live website with the issue is using version 22.214.171.124. So it does look like the issue happened after updating Enfold.
Any help with this would be great. Thanks.January 31, 2021 at 4:15 am #1276557
Could you post a link to where we can see the actual problem please? It might be related to the jQuery version change in WordPress, please try installing this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/, then change the jQuery version to 1.12.4 in the plugin options, to see if that makes any difference.

I installed that plugin, but didn’t have any luck. I included details in the private info so you can see the issue.

I spoke to the developer of the plugin again and he said that adding the line mentioned in the post I included above from 2018 (https://kriesi.at/support/topic/wp_enqueue_media-not-working-on-frontend-after-latest-update/) would fix it. So I tried that and it’s working now.
In that post one of the moderators mentioned it would be something addressed in a new update to the theme. So I’m not sure why it was working on Enfold 4.7.5 and stopped when I updated to 126.96.36.199. Both copies of the website are using WordPress 5.6.
I removed the login info in my previous post since it’s not needed now.February 5, 2021 at 1:52 pm #1277994
