    hello,

Before I start uploading images to a website I have a query about the image size.
I’ve set up all my WordPress image sizes. So I intend to upload the image from my computer that’s bigger than my largest WP size so it generates all my WP sizes.

On looking at Enfolds requirements I saw a Slider that uses 1500 px for the fullscreen I think.
Would it behoove me to size all my images to 1500px (wide?) for uploading so that I always have the full image at that size in case I want to use it in a slider at some point? Is this the idea?

Or would I be better uploading smaller images and assessing my slider needs down the track and just reprocess/resize any images I want in the slider at that stage?
The largest WP image size is 1030 px.

It should be noted that of these images I’m uploading any and all are a suitable option for a large screen slider on the home page or similar.

    thanks!

    Hey mjadvnt,

    Thank you for using Enfold.

Yes, that’s the general idea but it’s not necessary to upload every images with that size. That particular size is intended for full width sliders or sections as you earlier observed. The size depends on where you’re planning to use the image.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
