    Hi Kriesi team
I’m creating another new site and want to use the Enfold theme along with the IF-SO plugin. The shortcode displays rather than the action of the shortcode. They have a page on this…

    Please help!
    j
    DETAILS
They say it works with a lot of themes
https://www.if-so.com/compatibility-with-page-builders-content-editors/ …and more. I’ve unchecked the box “Apply “the_content” filter. as suggested but it did NOT resolve the issue.
The following page builders are used by our users and have been verified to be compatible with If-So (other editors will likely work as well):

    Gutenberg
Elementor (learn more about our Elementor widget)
    Divi
    Oxygen
    Visual Composer
    Beaver Builder
    Theme Fusion (Avada)
    Site Origin
    Thrive Architect
    Optipress3
    Brizy

Common Issues with Using If-So and Content Editors

Issue: After embedding the trigger, the shortcode itself is displayed instead of the trigger’s content.
Solution: On your WordPress dashboard, go to If-So > Settings and uncheck the box “Apply “the_content” filter.” This should resolve the problem.
Issue: The style of the content added with If-So appears different than content added directly in the page editor.
Solution: If you are using a content builder, it is likely that you apply different styles to texts and images using the element/block design settings. In most cases, applying the same style to the content of your trigger will occur automatically. All you have to do is simply paste the trigger’s shortcode inside the Element/Block.
Nevertheless, there might be other cases, depending on how the page was built and how the style was applied, where some CSS and HTML adjustments will be required. If this is the case, and you do not know how to do it yourself, feel free to contact us so that we can help.

    Hey Julie,

We haven’t tested the theme with that plugin unfortunately, could you give us details to where we can see and reproduce the problem you are having please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

You may disregard this post. The plugin author responded with a solution (an addon to the plugin was necessary to make that specific shortcode work). You may add IF-SO as a plugin that is compatible with Enfold. This plugin adds a lot of interactive uses for web sites. Not a lot out there like it.
