My social and other icons are gone after upgrading to WordPress 5.4. I tried updating to most recent version of Enfold, but that didn’t resolve the problem.

I have the same problem guys.
I Installed my theme recently its version is 4.7.4 and my WordPress version is 5.4
No items are showing my website address is: https://kavl.ca/ and my installed plugins are: Akismet Anti-Spam, Disable Gutenberg, Gravity Forms, Really Simple SSL, Sucuri, WP Htaccess Editor
I disabled all of the plugins and tried your .httaccess file editing solution. None of them hasn’t worked.

    Hi rweekes4,

I can’t reproduce the problem on my end, I’m not seeing any missing icons at all. Could you let us know how to reproduce the problem please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi nabizade1992,

I can’t see any missing icons on your site either using Chrome, how can we reproduce the problem on your site?

    Hey Ricard,

It was something wrong with my CDN. I turned it off and the icons are showing fine.
    Thanks.

Just installed Enfield theme and everything seemed to work correctly, now it seems none of the icons, social, search, iconbox are working. It looks like a CORS policy problem but I am unsure of how to fix it.

    Hi btyndell,

    Please refer to this: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-cors/

If you need further assistance please let us know.

    Victoria,
I tried that before I reached out and it doesn’t seem to make a difference.

    Thanks,

Not sure if it makes a difference but it seems to work properly on Safari, and IOS but the issue is with Chrome.

    Hi Brandon,

I’m seeing the same thing on my end using Chrome, it’s being blocked by the browser since it’s not being served from the actual site domain. If the CORS code doesn’t work then maybe you could exclude that file from your CDN?

    Best regards,
    Rikard
