I use the icon boxes but they only show an empty square
If I enable CSS merging and compressing, almost all of my CSS isn’t working anymore. I use the child theme with CSS in the style.css file.
April 18, 2019 at 7:57 am #1092315Hey BigBossMedia,
The icons are displaying fine on my end, did you manage to get it working? If not then please try to explain the problem you are having a bit further or post a screenshot highlighting it.
Best regards,
RikardApril 19, 2019 at 1:12 pm #1092674Hi Rikard: see here: https://pasteboard.co/IaQAEs3.jpg
And can you answer my other question about the problem with merging the CSS? All of my own CSS doesn’t work when I enable that function.
April 19, 2019 at 2:12 pm #1092684Rikard,
You might want to have someone check my post:This was an issue before and may be again since I do not see any fix listed in the changelog for 4.5.6.
Please advise asap.
April 23, 2019 at 3:05 am #1093482Hi,
Thanks for the update.
@BigBossMedia: This should help with the css merging issue.// https://kriesi.at/support/topic/again-one-problem-with-merged-css/#post-1082689
And according to the browser console, the access to the icon font files are not allowed or forbidden.
entypo-fontello.woff:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 () wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/assets/fonts/entypo-fontello.ttf

April 29, 2019 at 12:31 pm #1095235Hi,
Thanks for the update.
We just noticed that the site is using an older version of the theme, 4.5.3. Please upgrade to version 4.5.6, then update the asset-manager.php file as suggested on the previous thread.
// https://kriesi.at/support/topic/again-one-problem-with-merged-css/#post-1082689
Unfortunately, that patch was not merged on the latest version of the theme.

IsmaelMay 6, 2019 at 4:56 pm #1097740Hi Ismael,
I updated the theme:

May 8, 2019 at 5:23 pm #1098511Hi,
Sorry for the problems.
We will release 4.5.7 very very soon including the fix for this merging problem.
Can you wait – else we can give you a beta version including the fix.
Best regards,
GünterMay 9, 2019 at 9:52 am #1098818Günter, can you elaborate on when “very soon” might be so we know when to reasonably expect 4.5.7?
May 10, 2019 at 6:16 am #1099160Hi crtdude,
We don’t have a set date unfortunately, but it will likely be released next week. If you want the beta version then please open a new thread so that we can share it with you.
Best regards,
RikardMay 10, 2019 at 7:31 am #1099195Rikard, thanks for replying. I can certainly wait until next week for it. I’m sure it’ll be tested against WP5.2 anyway so the wait will be just fine.
May 11, 2019 at 6:39 am #1099507Hi crtdude,
We released it yesterday, please try updating to 4.5.7: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update
Best regards,
RikardMay 13, 2019 at 3:38 pm #1100126Updated the theme but it still doesn’t work :(
What can I do to fix it?
May 14, 2019 at 1:15 pm #1100522Hi,
Thanks for the update.
The icon boxes are displaying properly when we check. Please try to purge the cache on your end. We also created a test page to confirm if it’s actually working or not. (see private field)
Best regards,
IsmaelMay 16, 2019 at 10:43 pm #1101589Ismael, the icon boxes are working properly now, thanks.
But still the following things don’t work:
– CSS merging doesn’t work. All of my CSS disappear when I switch it on. Can you have a look why? The theme is up to date.
– the back to top box is pointing to the right in stead of pointing up.

May 19, 2019 at 2:56 am #1102159Hi,
To correct the “back to top” button, Please try this code in the General Styling > Quick CSS field or in the WordPress > Customize > Additional CSS field:#scroll-top-link { transform: rotate(-90deg) !important; }
As for your css merging, I couldn’t see any difference between it being on or off, Please clear your browser cache and check.
If there is still a difference, please explain one element to look at so we can test.Best regards,
MikeMay 21, 2019 at 9:56 pm #1103091Mike, turn the CSS merging on and ALL of my CSS is gone. For example: the font of the title “Snel geld verdienen? …” but also the body text.
May 22, 2019 at 5:06 am #1103153Hi,
First please try to check the option: Enfold Theme Options > Performance > Delete old CSS and JS files
then save your theme settings again and clear your browser and server cache.
Since you have been adding your css to your child theme, then try adding a blank space to the Quick CSS and save your theme settings again, and clear your browser cache again.
This is because when you add css to your child theme the merged css file is not rebuilt until the theme settings is saved.Best regards,
MikeJuly 16, 2019 at 4:13 pm #1119183Hi Mike,
Thanks for the feedback but it still doesn’t work :(
I have tried this over and over but no result. Not on desktop, not on my mobile and tablet.
Can you have a look for the solution?
Url and login in the private section.
Another point:
The fix for the back to top is a little bit strange. It starts with pointing to the right and then it flips back to the top. This isn’t a proper solution, why does it start with pointing to the right? I have never seen this before.
July 17, 2019 at 10:08 pm #1119705Any news about the “back to top” box?
