First of all, hi everyone :)

I am a pretty happy user of Enfold, but there are two issues I want to fix in order to get my website live.

    1. Is there a way to make the upper menu a little bit bigger? I can change colour and background colour without any problem, but I can’t find a way to make it bigger, with larger fonts.

    2. The second problem I have, is a little more complicated. There are some moments, where the website is not responding to my changes and uploads of new content, or to be more accurate, they do not show up although the new articles are uploaded. I can see the new posts from other browsers, on my main browser though, I have to click update on my Dashboard, reload the page several times and then I can see my new posts or new pictures I have uploaded on the main slider.

For example: I am uploading a news piece about a new video clip. I am clicking the right category (“Video”), but when I go to “Video” in order to see every post that belongs to this particular category, the new post doesn’t show up. If I use another browser, I can see it and if I click on the direct link of my new post I can see the post without any problem. But in order to make the new post visible on the main page or in this particular category on my main browser, I have to click update/refresh several times.

Is this some kind of bug of Enfold? Do I have to clear cache everytime in order to see the right, updated website?

Thank you in forward for your help

    Hey Mavraganis!

    1. You can set the header height in Dashboard > Enfold > Header. You can increase the font size of the menu items in Dashboard > Enfold > Advanced Styling.

    2. It sounds like a caching issue. Are you using a caching plugin? Does it do the same in all browsers? Perhaps some kind of browser add-on / extension is causing the issue.

    Cheers!

Yes, I am using the WP Super Cache. Should I deactivate this plugin?

Well, on other browsers it seems like it does not have the same issue, although I have to mention that I don’t use them as often as Google Chrome on which I am constantly online because I am logged in as an admin. So, I am not 100% sure if this happens on other browsers too.

    Hey!

The plugin should have some kind of button in it’s settings for flushing the cache. You’ll need to do that if you want to see any changes instantly.

    Best regards,

Ok, I will check this out. Does that mean that also the visitors of my website will not see instantly out changes or does this only affect the admins?

Thanks a lot for your help :)

    Hi,

It will most likely affect user to your site as well, if you want to make sure your edits are shown to everyone then please try to flush the cache for that particular page at least.

    Regards,
    Rikard
