    I’ve been trying to upload the Enfold theme onto my WordPress website but it keeps failing and I don’t know why – please help. thanks!

    Hey harrietthacker,

    After you have downloaded the theme files from Themeforest, did you unpack the archive on your local machine first? The installable zip file should be included there.

    I’ve downloaded the installable WordPress file and then just uploaded it directly. Do I need to unpack it first?

    Hi,

    Please refer to this post – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/install-enfold-theme-with-ftp/ and try installing the theme via FTP.

    If that does not work, please pose FTP and WP admin logins here privately so we can install the theme for you :)

    We have not received the credentials. Can you please try posting FTP and WP admin logins in private content field?


    @janejira17     could you also please start a new thread under Enfold sub forum and attach FTP and WP admin logins in private content field? If you post them here, they will be visible to creator of this thread as well

    I installed both Enfold and Enfold child theme ( http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/ ) via FTP and tried activating for testing purposes. Everything looks fine. Please review your website :)
