Hi Kriesi, I have bought enfold theme by themeforest. But, when I try to install theme, I got failed. The warning said wordpress failure notice. I don’t know how to solve the problem. I need your help. Thanks.

I guess the file you download from themeforest is not actually the Its the overall package that includes the license, psd, documentation and then then file that is the actual theme file.

So first unzip the file you’ve downloaded from themeforest and then you can select the inside of it to upload to wordpress.

Some days ago Envato added a new download option which allows you to download the theme files only (which you can install directly):

Please help me! I can’t install the file.

    The line I get is:

    Bad Gateway

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.

Apache/2.2.16 (Debian) Server at Port 80

    Kind regards,

Maybe your server blocks the file upload. Try to unpack the zip file and use ftp to upload the enfold folder into the wp-content/themes/ directory.

    Best regards,

Thanx! Its working. have a nice day.

    Glad we could help :)

Let us know if you have any other questions or issues.

I recently purchased the Enfold theme and downloaded the files from themeforest. When I try to upload and install the file to my WordPress account it give me a failure notice saying “Are you sure you want to do this?” and then gives me a clickable option saying “Please try again.” When I click the link it takes me back to the upload page. When I try the process again I get the same issue.

I’m confused at how to move forward. Since I’m very new to all of this so any detailed advice on how to move forward would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi kevv33,

You can try uploading via FTP if you are unable to install with the wordpress admin. I do a walk through of installing over FTP and using Filezilla (a free FTP program) here :

kevv33, I just had the same issue. I resolved it by turning off all my plugins and then added the theme without problems. It’s worth a try :)

    Glad you finally fixed it.

Devin… Thank you! The video was very helpful. I used filezilla and it was uploaded successfully. Many many thanks!!!

    Glad we could help :)

If you have any other video requests for tutorials I’m looking to do some more when the current overflow of support topics calms down. Just make a post in this topic with any requests:
