I can't edit content in elements (text block, tabs, etc)

I don’t know how I can reproduce the issue.
I tried:
· disable css and js (fle merging & compression)
· clean the cache: in browser, in wordpress, in site (siteground)
· using diferent browser
· using diferents laptops
· using diferents networks: 1 by ethernet, 1 by wifi (both with the same internet proveider: movistar), 1 by mobile by usb connect (diferent proveider: vodafone)
Sometimes it works fine, but everytime it drives worse. At this moment I can’t work and it’s a problem, because I must finish quick and my client begins a marketing campaign.
Any suggestion or possible test, please?

I answer you:

· For now, please disable SG Optimizer as caching sometimes interfere.
>>> It’s done, Now the plugin is deactive.

· Also, you can use a Web Inspector (just right click anywhere on your site including the backend then click Inspect), then go to Console and see if there are any js errors (I have checked on my end and I don’t see any) but if issues shows up, try to do this step and screenshot any errors it shows and post it here

Hi,
I add this information:
For testing purposes:
1.- I migrate the web with duplicator from siteground to cdmon = the problem persists in both.sites.
2.- I create a new site in cdmon, install enfold and import “the Shop Demo” = I try to edit the “Sample” = the problem persists. After some minutes, it seems to works fine.

Hi Nikko,
The content is everty thing, in my test page, usually “11111111111111”, “222222222222222222”, “test”, in the other pages, normal content, often short content. I paste in pastebin.
Is it possible that the web editor is not working properly?
Can I reinstall something (woocommerce plugin, enfold theme, etc) without lossing the work?
I don’t knonw if you see the add information in the private area…

Hi Nikko,
If I save the page with the “Default editor”, then I can edit, without the problem, so in the pages list it shows without the “Advanced Layout Builder” label.
For exemple, with the page: history
1 Edit with the “Advanced Layout Builder”: I get the problem
2 Click in the “Default Editor” button
3 Update
4 Go to pages list: “History”, this page lose the “Advanced Layout Builder” label
5 Edit, in “Default editor” mode
6 Click in the “Advanced Layout Builder” button
7 I can edit normally
8 Update
9 Go to pages list: “History”, this page get the “Advanced Layout Builder” label
10 Edit and it works fine.
It seems to be something is wrong loading the “Advanced Layout Builder”… Can it be?
I hope this action will de permanent…, will see..

In the page “Quality” I get the problem editing with advanced layout builder:

In this page, when I edit the block content “Lorem ipsum dolor…” I get the problem ans also it doesn’t show the debug area, so I can’t see the code…

I have some webs with enfold and never i happens to me. In this web there is woocommerce and the others there are not.
Is it possible a bug betwen woocommerce and advance layout editor?
At this moment I need to work quick because the calendar, so I will be switching to default editor, update and continous editing with the advanced laoyout editor.

Hi Nikko,

At this moment, In the page “Quality” is not showing the problem editing with advanced layout builder and I can see the debug area: when I get the problem, I change to “Default editor”, “update” and change back to “advanced layout builder” editor, then I can work fine. This change impact in all the other pages, so it’s noemal that the page “Quality” is driving correctly. It seems to be degrading until the problem appears and then I must change to default editor.

I use firefox.When the problem appears, I will follow your instructions.

Some information about it:

I supose there is some incompatibility with woocommerce and enfold -now 4.8.3- because:

:: Editing in woocommerce enviroment:
1.- I edit https://joanv22.sg-host.com/product/extensive/ with “Edit product” item menu

2.- I get the right page edition

3.- When I clic in the “Advanced layout editor” button, I get other page => this is particularity problematic, because my client needs to edit the content in the easyest possible way (visual, not code).

:: Editing in content in other pages -not woocommerce enviroment-:
When the html editor fails in the advanced layout editor, I go to the other editor, update the page and get back to the advanced layour editor, in this moment with the right and editable content.

Hi Nikko,

Thanks for your answers. In fact, always I had worked only with the Advanced Editor, since I had problems. From this moment I tried with the Default Editor and until now I can work only updating the content from this default editor; so:
1.- I update the content from Default Editor
2.- I work with the Advanced -sometimes I test updating only with the Advanced Editor, and editing 2,3 or 4 times, but finally crash-.
3.- I update with the Default -problem comes with any element (block, timeline, image, icons, etc-
I can’t work only with the advanced editor.

I have not problems in other webs, but these have not woocommerce. I supose must be some incompatibility with woocommerce and the Advanced Editor, because it’s the only diference with the other webs (php, template version, etc).

My wish is working with the Advanced Editor, if now or later you find a solution, please let me know.

Thanks for your patience.
Actually the edition in the product area (shop) is finish. In other pages, like in home1, where only I edit with the advanced editor, sometimes duplicate some elements and write some extra code, with no sense.
You can see a exemple in https://joanv22.sg-host.com/mat/print-elements-extra-code.jpg, in this case without extra visible code, but duplicating some elements. The form must to have only these fileds: name, email, telephone, message, but there are some extra elements. I delete these extra elements, I work, but after I get these extra elements and or code.
In this case there’s not othe editor, only advanced.
