    Hi guys,
    I am trying to update my Enfold theme in WordPress. I am running 4.2.3 en want to update to 4.4.1

    Way 1:
    I tried to do it in the menu Weergave/ Themes. Press link update Enfold thema. Result: Failed. The given url is invalid.

    Way 2:
    I tried it in the Enfold menu. Theme update. Then nothing happens. I get this screen: it says the updates are ready. but when I check this, I still have the old Enfold version. I have also made a new Api Key and tried it again.

    Het bijwerkproces gaat starten. Dit proces kan op sommige hosts enige tijd duren, even geduld.

    Thema Enfold (1/1) bijwerken
    Update downloaden van T…
    Onderhoudsmode deactiveren…
    Alle updates zijn klaar.

    Who can help me with this? I am not an expert, as you can see, so please explain it in a easy way :-)

    I am having the same issue:

    Hi,

    I’m sorry for the problems, there was a recent change with the Envato update API and we haven’t been able to find a fix for this yet.

    Could you try to download the new version from your Themeforest account and then save it locally on your computer. Then go to Appearance->Themes and delete the old version of the theme, then upload and activate the new version to see if that works please?

    Please make sure that you have proper backups of your sites in case you should need to roll back. You could also try to update manually via FTP if you are more comfortable with that: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.

    Hi Rikard,

    Thanks for your answer, it still doesn’t work unfortunately…

    I have download the new versie of Enfold and put it on my computer. Then I tried to upload it. I got the following message:

    It says that these files doesn’t have style.css stylesheets..

    What should I do?
