    I’m trying to find the CSS, HTML and Javascript of the header and footer. Where would that be located in the dashboard?

    Hey John,

    The code would be header.php. The styles would be styles.css

    There’s nothing in my style.css except for commented documentation. I see that’s all php and not as much html in header.php. I’m guessing the HTML for the footer would be footer.php? I need the header and footer code to embed on another site. Would this be the best option?

    It’s on another platform (https://www.vidyard.com/) that enables you to add your header and footer from a site for extra customization.

    Hi,

    Yes, if you’re moving outside of WordPress you would need to copy the whole code. You would need to move both the PHP and CSS. But, seeing as it is a completely different platform, I doubt that would work.

    I do want to use the header and footer on a different platform, but not moving the site outside of wordpress. I want to do something like the below. They let you use your header and footer from your site.

    Yes, on wordpress for the current site I’d still be using it, but I wouldn’t be using Advanced Layout Builder on this HTML and CSS for the header and footer. I’m keeping the site where it is, but I also want to implement the header and footer on this platform.

    Do you want to integrate the header and footer design feature from Vidyard to your WordPress site? This may not be possible because your sharing page in Vidyard is different from your WordPress site.

    What kind of customization would like to do with your header and footer?

    I want to take the header and footer from the wordpress site and use that same header and footer in Vidyard, but I just need the HTML and CSS of the header and footer.

    Hi,

    That is possible but we would have to extract a lot of code from different parts of the theme. Unfortunately, this request is beyond of what we usually provide here in the forum. You may need to hire a freelance developer or contact our partner Codeable to help you with the customization.

    The header and footer markup is in the header.php and the footer.php file. You will also have to extract the header style or the css code from the stylesheets or the css files.
