    Hello,

    A freelancer designed my website and he used Enfold. I no longer work with the guy but want to make sure the theme stays up to do. What’s the process I should follow here? Should I just buy the theme and follow the standard update process? Or do I need a specific build based on my license? thanks

    Hey Ryan,

    If you can’t get the license from your former developer then I would recommend that you purchase your own license. After that then please refer to this documentation on how to register your theme: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

    Thanks for the response. I have access to the backend. I actually know a lot about WordPress but I guess my question is how can I update it if I don’t have a user account to download the files?

    Hi,
    You can purchase a new license and download the new theme from the Envato download area to update your theme.
