    Took over managing a website with a two and a half-year-old version of Enfold in place so we purchased a new license.

    The message on the Layerslider page is
    “You have version 5.5.0. The latest version is 6.0.5”

    However, the Layerslider cannot be updated as the Layerslider system will not accept the theme’s purchase code.

    They say:
    “Updating the bundled version in themes
    If you’ve received LayerSlider as a bundled item in your theme, new releases will be provided by the theme author through theme updates,”

    Please advise

    Hey Amadain,

    Since the Layer Slider is bundled with the theme you cannot update it separately, you only have to update the theme itself. Otherwise you would have purchase a separate license for the Layer Slider.
