Hello.
Google PageSpeedInsights is telling me to get rid of this resource: https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Raleway%3A400&subset=latin-ext
“Eliminate render-blocking resources > https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Raleway%3A400&subset=latin-ext”
I’d like to download and locate that CSS file locally (instead of how it currently calls it now).
How can I do this?

Thanks for contacting us!

YigitApril 14, 2021 at 2:52 pm #1294401Is this going to fix my issue? I read that page you showed me. I don’t even know where the custom font uploader is located.
I am not asking regarding any issue with GDPR.
I am concern about bad performance of my site in google pagespeed insights metrics due to that library enfold is using/calling
April 14, 2021 at 2:55 pm #1294403Hi,
Custom Font Manager is located in Enfold theme options > Import/Export tab. You would basically install Google fonts you would like to use on your server and basically serve them from your server instead of https://fonts.googleapis.com

YigitApril 15, 2021 at 9:27 am #1294522Two questions:
1. I am using the default fonts that came with Enfold. I have changed the font size for some of the elements. Can you provide me with url where I can download whatever fonts I am using in my site? My site is: https://www.neotel2000.com/
2. Once I have imported/uploaded all the fonts, how do I stop from the theme to keep calling fonts.googleapis.com? Where is located the call? In which file?
I am using Enfold Child them BTW.
Many thanks
April 20, 2021 at 5:02 am #1295406Hi,
Sorry for the late reply.
1. You can download Google fonts by clicking the top right blue button on the detail page of each font: https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Roboto
2. If you select a web safe font in the theme options, then it should not call Google to fetch any files.

RikardMay 1, 2021 at 11:01 am #1297686Dear support,
ENFOLD is a really great theme.
I used as well the custom font upload to get rid of the remotely fetched google-fonts.Then, i did recognize, that the fonts are still loaded. And would be loaded again, if some fonts are used from google.
There is a ENFOLD setting for Google Service. I suggest to have a switch there to switch Google Fonts completly off.
Thank you, Thomas
May 4, 2021 at 8:04 am #1298199Hi,
@subnoodle: Did you select the custom font after uploading it? Sorry for asking. You can check it in the Enfold > General Styling > Fonts panel. It is also possible that the Google fonts are coming from a third party plugin. Or if you have a map, it will load the Open Sans font by default.
Best regards,
IsmaelMay 4, 2021 at 9:12 am #1298220Hi Ismael,
yes, i selected them.
The Open-Sans-hint in Gmap is good & helpful.
It was used by the navigation menue as well. Why, i don’t know.
The extended styles where set to font “Standard” for the navigation items.I just wanted to state that it is not obvious where ENFOLD uses which fonts by default.
So, a switch off button would be helpful, or even a statement, e.g. that only fonts are includes which are configured in … these many / which sections?Thank you, Th.
May 5, 2021 at 6:06 am #1298426Hi,
I just wanted to state that it is not obvious where ENFOLD uses which fonts by default.
Fonts are separated into two categories, font for headings and font for the body content. Body content includes paragraphs, links, menu items, blockquote, strong tags, etc. The other font category is for headings and titles such as the widget title, post title and any text wrapped around the heading tags. And if you look closely in the Enfold > General Styling, there is actually a style preview.

If you use the Custom Font Manager and selected a custom font for both heading and body content, the theme will not have to load anything from Google and will instead use use the local font in your server.

It would be great to find these in the standard documentation.Thank you, Thomas
