    We are using the default cookie behavior »Essential cookies are accepted on first page load, user must opt in«. On https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/privacy-cookies/#toggle-id-7 you describe that option. Is it possible to add some essential cookies which aren’t accepted on first page load yet? We are using »Thirve Leads« plugin and want to include their cookies as essential cookies. How can we do that?

    Thank you, Jan

    Hey Victoria, thank you, but that doesn’t help. I’ve read both threads (and the first one was very very long), but there are no answers to my questions. I don’t need any information about the general settings of Enfold’s cookie consent messages or the modal popup window. I am very familiar with it.

    It’s not an issue, how to configure settings or to inform the user. It’s an technical issue: There are two types of cookies. a) The essential cookies, which are loaded on first page load (using »Essential cookies are accepted on first page load, user must opt in«). b) The other ones, which are loaded after the opt-in. Simple question: How can we include cookies, which are loaded after the opt-in, into the group of essential cookies? These cookies should be accepted on first page load before(!) the opt-in. Again: That can’t be done with the existing Cookie Handling and Cookie Consent Messages settings. How can we manage that?

    Thank you, Jan

    Hi,

    Sorry for the late reply.

    At the moment there is no possibility to add it out of the box. I will add this to our dev repo for one of the next releases.

    I did not test but try to add your cookies to:

    enfold\js\avia-snippet-cookieconsent.js function monitor_cookies() line 459ff.

    Add it to the keep_cookies array.

    Best regards,
    Günter
