    Hey guys,

    Any ideas on how to make horizontal scrolling text notification in CSS at the VERY TOP of the website above the menu?
    I have the ‘Announcement Scrolling ‘ plugin, but the plugin doesn’t allow me to place the scrolling text ABOVE the menu at the very top. Need CSS please and where to place it.

    Hey entrepreneurgirl,

    How exactly do you add it using the plugin? If it’s shortcode or another type of code, then you could try it in the phone number field in the theme options. You could also try adding it in a widget in the header: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/header/#adding-a-header-widget-area

    Hi,
    I would like to use a horizontal scrolling text above the menu with some text about new dates / events / announcements.
    What is best practice? Should I load some plugin (which would you recommend?) or is this possible with enfold widgets?

    Hi Marie,

    There’s nothing like that in the theme by default unfortunately. You could add the content to a widget in the header though, see documentation link above. As for the scrolling text; please try looking for a plugin or third party code, or try using the Headline Rotator shortcodes. If you want to copy shortcodes into your widget, you need to activate debug mode first: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-advanced-layout-builder/#debug-mode

    Hi Rikard,
    I want to try the Ditty News Ticker in order to get scrolling text. I tried it like it worked for entrepreneurgirl and posted the shortcode into the phonenumber field in the header, but it didn’t work. Do I have to use the debug mode as well in order to work for this?
    I just need a news ticker with some dates running on top of the page.
