PLEASE, REPLIES FROM ENFOLD SUPPORT ONLY, PLEASE START YOUR OWN THREAD IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE
Hello, more issues with Version 4.5.5, not exactly sure whats going on here, after update almost all of my homepage disappears, can’t keep the site this way as it is live and reverted back to the previous version. Please see links in private content for screenshots. Here is a list of elements used on this page;
- Color Section with custom CSS to remove padding
- Multiple Featured Image Sliders ( I think this might the cause of the issue )
- widget area
Let me know if there’s any known issues.
Thank you!
ChrisMarch 26, 2019 at 7:41 pm #1083221Hello, figured out what is causing the issue, it’s the Featured Image Slider. After the update, this element and everything in the same row isn’t displaying on the front end but is still on the back end, It’s even removing the background. URL and login credentials to a staging site that’s been updated in Private Content. Please help and thank you!!!
March 27, 2019 at 8:57 pm #1083790Hi,
Issue seem to occur when boxed layout is chosen and there are Featured Image Sliders on the page. HTML is somehow broken and only deleting sliders fix it. I enabled debugging mode – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-layout-builder/#debug-mode but shortcode parser does not show any errors.
I will report the issue to our devs. Please kindly wait to hear from us :)
Edit: I created a test page which is a copy of your homepage and deleted all elements except for Featured Image Sliders and page loads fine. I could not reproduce the issue on my local installation either. I will ask my teammates to check your page to see if they can figure out what exactly is breaking HTML.

March 28, 2019 at 12:45 am #1083841Hey!
A JS error is showing in the browser console. In most cases this happens due to a conflict.
If you have a staging site set up please update all the plugins to the latest version.
For testing purpose Deactivate all the plugins.
Create a brand new page and add your elements. This should fix the issue. If you still have an issue please let us know if we can deactivate the plugins on the site you have shared above and troubleshoot to help you better.
Cheers!
VinayMarch 28, 2019 at 2:56 pm #1084122Hi Vinay,
I deactivated all plugins with no success, but I didn’t rebuild the page. This is happening after the 4.5.5 update, I haven’t installed any new plugins. I have 31 sites that use enfold and I’m not about to go through all of them rebuilding pages due to an error with the new code. If you guys can please figure this out it would be very appreciated. I trust Enfold and the Enfold team, that’s why I buy Enfold, it’s always been solid. From your screenshot it looks like an error from recaptcha, I have a plugin for that, deactivated, still happening. Caches are cleared, no change.
On another note, there are other issues with the new release, I have another open ticket regarding icon lists not holding the styling prior to the update. Other people keep posting on my post, and I haven’t received any good support there as I’m not editing PHP files. Then an Enfold support agent replies to another person on my post to basically edit files to get things to work right, what is up with that? (VInay, you have replied to that ticket as well, told me to clear my cache, didn’t work. I don’t have file merging or compression on in any site.)
Anyway, this is the big issue, if you need me to supply anything else please let me know.
Thank you,

April 2, 2019 at 1:56 am #1085779Hi,
The error is generated by the CF7 plugin, more specifically its recaptcha option. What is the current version of API key used in the Contact > Integration > reCAPTCHA panel? You may need to upgrade it to v3 if it’s still on v2.
// https://contactform7.com/recaptcha/

IsmaelApril 2, 2019 at 3:33 pm #1086105Hi Ismael,
Just checked my reCaptcha, it’s v3 and everything is correct. Tried to deactivate the plugin, no change, tried deactivating all plugins, no change.
Thank you,
ChrisApril 5, 2019 at 3:42 am #1087302Hi,
Yes, you’re right. The page doesn’t break when the featured image sliders are removed. Would you mind if we access the file server? Please post the FTP details in the private field.

ChrisApril 9, 2019 at 12:52 am #1088457Hi,
Thanks for the update.
We have been checking the site for days, but we can’t figure out what’s going wrong with the featured image sliders’ markup. As a temporary solution, we replicate the layout using combination of elements in the builder. (see private field)

IsmaelApril 9, 2019 at 3:53 pm #1088693Hi Ismael,
I really appreciate the time you guys have taken in trying to solve this issue, has this been reported by anyone else? Going to look at the page you have created, I’ll probably just switch everything to how you have it on this staging site, was just easier to use the Featured Image slider as all the elements are there and able to add the color overlay in one element. I’ll probably wait about a week or two until I have time, if you find out anything in the meantime please let me know.
Thank you!
ChrisApril 12, 2019 at 12:27 am #1089784Hi,
There hasn’t been any report about this, at least not that I am aware of, so that makes it more difficult because we don’t have any reference or prior experience with it. Yes, it’s true that the featured image slider is much more easier, so we’d like to apologize for the inconvenience. We created a copy of the home page or saved its layout as template so that we can test the issue on another page when necessary. Please keep the login credentials open.

IsmaelApril 12, 2019 at 5:01 pm #1090090Hi Ismael,
This staging site and your login credentials will stay as long as needed. Again I will probably implement your solution, but I just haven’t had time yet. Hopefully we figure out a fix before I can get to it, lol. Thanks again for all of your help!

The problem is solved when updated to 4.5.6, I did it on my main install and everything is good to go. I updated the staging site also without the same results, but I know there was testing there. Going to delete the staging site unless you still need to look at anything, please let me know and I can keep it up for now, or just close this topic and I’ll delete. Thank you all for helping out! Best support staff ever!
Thank you,
