    Hi
    Could you please help with my home page title not showing in search engines correct?

    The title showing is: S&P Paintshop
    BUT should be: Car Bodyshop – Car & Vehicle Paintwork Specialists in Telford

    I have used webmaster tools to fetch my website home page a few weeks ago and cleared my catch?
    But still no change, when you look at the source for the website the title is as i want it not as it is displaying on search engines.

    I have contacted Yoast and they say its a theme issue?

    Can you please firstly update Enfold to the latest version 3.4.1 – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    This is the title I’m getting on the front page: Car Bodyshop – Car & Vehicle Paintwork Specialists in Telford. You will have to give Google some time to index your page.

    Yes thats the correct title but on search results it says: S&P Paintshop

    Its been a couple of months since the website was fetched from Google, thought it would of changed by now.

    Hey!

    Did you use any SEO plugins like Yoast? You can modify the pages’ title with it. If you did this already, try to ask google to recrawl the page: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/6065812?hl=en

    Yes we do use Yoast SEO and have just got Google to recrawl the page again, we will wait and see if that helps.

    After getting Google to recrawl my home page again the search engine results title still has not changed, see attached image of our Yoast SEO title showing the correct text we want but NOT showing up on search engines like this?

    Hey!

    if you have questions about Yoast SEO plugin then please ask the guys from Yoast support team about it, because they simply know their plugin best.

    By the way: You are using an old version of the theme, so please upgrade to Enfold v3.4.3.

    Hi Mark,

    Did they go into anything more specific? As far as I know you are the only one of our users who has had this problem so it seems a bit unlikely, but I’m curious as to what the Yoast team had to say what the problem is?
