Due to the fact that support and I were working at the same time on the site, the work on the start page (top area with telephone number) was probably wrongly overwritten again.
There were several entries of this type:
[av_heading heading=’Amazing meals & ###lt###strong###gt###great entertainment###lt###/strong###gt###’ tag=’h2′The problem was that there was an html tag in the demo that wasn’t supposed to be there!
Unfortunately, I can’t manage to restore the corresponding revision, and I’m also concerned that I’ll delete the wrong entries. I’ve read through how it works in theory, but I can’t do it. Can you possibly do this for me manually so that my other changes are not undone? It is really very urgent and important that I can continue working on the website tonight.

Durch das zeitgleiche Arbeiten des Supports und von mir wurde wahsrcheinlich die Arbeit auf der Startseite (obesrter Bereich mit Angabe der Telefonummer) fälschlicherweise wieder überschrieben.

Ich schaffe es leider nicht, die enstrechende Revision wiederherzustellen, habe auch Bedenken, dass ich die falschen Eintragungen lösche. Ich habe mir durchgelesen, wie es theoretisch geht, bekomme es aber nicht hin. Könnt ihr das eventuell manuell für mich machen, so dass meien anderen Änderungen nicht rückgängig gemacht werden? Esw ist wirklich sehr sehr eilig und wichtig, dass ich heute Nacht weiterarbeiten kann an der Website.

We could use the revision option but there is no guarantee that some of your changes won’t be undone, we would use the same options as you stepping back one at a time, as Yigit did a couple of days ago.
So instead I installed our Special Character Translation plugin I told you about in a different thread, then I created a new homepage for you from our restaurant demo and fixed all of the tags and add your phone number and restaurant name from your broken home page.
Please review the page I linked below.
I recommend deleting your broken homepage and set the page I make for you as your new homepage and make your changes to it.
I looked at your other pages and fixed the tags in them so I think this is a good and helpful solution.Best regards,

could you set the page you made for me as my new homepage? I don’t know to handle the resets.
Do I need to reset the slider one position and then confirm the reset and look? And if that’s not the right page, then go back (left) one more time?
Can’t you see which reset you made the changes on and go back to that? Even if there is a risk that changes made by me will be lost.
I’m afraid that more will break when I do the wrong steps.
It’s more important right now that the site is running properly.

To set the homepage in the theme you choose the page you want to use in the theme setting Enfold Theme Options ▸ Theme Options ▸ Frontpage Settings
If you want to the revision option on the other page please choose the restore point that you want to use from the slide option as we talked about in another thread, I don’t know to which point you want to go back to so I don’t want to try to do it for you.
If you don’t see the revision point that you want to use from the list then I would not be able to see it either.
If you don’t see the revision point that you want to use you could use the new page I created for you with your edits that I could see.Best regards,

Do you mean like the new page I created for you?
Try setting that page as your homepage in the theme settings and use it, it’s already corrected to use with the plugin.

That was a misunderstanding, because I didn’t know that you had created a new page. That’s why I asked so many times about the revisions! I have linked the page (of yours) in the menu now but when I click on “xyz.com” it still shows the old page even though the other one is linked in the menu. If I edit the page and then look at it, it shows up normally in the menu. What do I have to do so that it is also displayed when I click on “xyz.com” in the dashboard?
I hope everything will work after that last advice for the homepage …

Glad to hear this is helping you, when I test your website name in the top left corner from the dashboard it seems to go to your new page, also when I click your logo on the site and when I click you first menu item.

MikeYes, thanks for looking, I came up with the idea myself that I need to change the link in the WP that led to the other “welcome page”. After that it worked.
