    In previous versions the Hamburger menu was not working on mobile phones. You told us to use the Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin as a temporary fix until the next release.
    The upgrade to 4.8 has not fixed it. I have reactivated the Enable jQuery Migrate Helper but that does not now fix it.

    I can confirm also the hamburger menu (as well as shrinking header and header overlay text) is completely broken under 4.8

    Hi,

    Thanks for contacting us!

    Could you please go to Enfold theme options > Performance and disable “JS file merging and compression” and check “Delete old CSS and JS files?” at the bottom and save theme options, flush cache and check if that helps?
    After that you can enable JS file merging and it should work as expected. If it does not, please create temporary admin logins and post them here privately so we can look into it :)

    For what it’s worth, the mobile hamburger menu is working perfectly on my site under 4.8.

    Hello,
    I’ve got the same problem. Hamburger ist not working on mobile. WP Version fixed on 17.03.21 to 5.7. And enfold has 4.8.1. Last week every is working perfect. Today it’s broken. Did not really know what happend….

    Hi,

    @tsays: The mobile menu seems to be working properly on our end. Have you tried removing the cache and/or disabling the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings?

    @xenobyte: We can reproduce the issue on your site, but we are not yet sure what is causing it and we do not see any errors in the browser console. Did you modify the header.php or the includes > helper-main-menu.php file?

    Please try to install the following plugin, then set jQuery to the legacy version.

    @ismael: thank you so much for responding. I tried changing settings in Performance. It didn’t work, so I went through the plugins and sure enough it was a Page Speed plugin causing the issue. Is there a known list of plugins that cause functionality issues with Enfold? I’d sure love to see that or be directed to it if there is.

    Hi @ismael,
    I have installed the plugin you recommended an set jQuery to version “legacy 1.12.4-wp”.
    But nothing happened. :-(
    The problem with the burger menu is still there and no problem recorded in the plugin.

    I’m a uncertain, because the file “helper-main-menu.php” has an alteration date 29.03.21.
    Is there a chance to rollback this file? I’ve done an update on the 17th of march, but can not remind of a further alteration in the 29th. ;-(

    I do not really know, what to do know?

    Hi @Xenobyte,

    Do you remember in which version you have modified helper-main-menu.php file? If you do, we can send you a copy of that file so you can compare it with the one you have in your child theme and apply the changes you made on that file on updated file.
