    Hello,
unfortunately the generated API-Key for GoogleMaps is not working.
    I´ve tried the following:
    – no restrictions on the API
    – typed the API key correctly (copied it)
    – GeoCoding service is enabled
    – Billing is enabled
    – Plugins were disabled
    – WordPress and Enfold latest version
    – I have regenerated the key
Can you help me please? :)

    Best regards from Germany
    Michael

    Hi Michael,

Thanks for the login details. First off, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.9.2.2) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,
I have also problems to register the Enfold-license – I´ve installed the enfold-plugin and got this message:

The OAuth Personal Token could not be verified. Please check that the Token has been entered correctly and has the minimum required permissions.
    Additional Error Details:
Failed to query total number of items in API response.
    Unauthorized
    {“request_url”:”https:\/\/api.envato.com\/v1\/market\/total-items.json”,”response_code”:401,”response_cf_ray”:”7057af38184991e7-FRA”,”response_server”:”cloudflare”}

That is why no new theme-update was installed – i´ve done this manually – now the Enfold-Theme is the latest version. The problem with googleMaps still exists. We´ve set HTML-Restrictions to “https://comemso-innovations.de” but still the same error-message:
Mit diesem API-Schlüssel konnte keine Verbindung zu Google Maps hergestellt werden. > no connection to Google Maps

    Best regards

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. I added your API key to the theme option, then I added some test coordinates to the map on your contact page. I get the error message in private after that, it looks like something might be wrong with which URL is allowed to use the key?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,
    thanks for your answer!
We´ve checked the API-Key and unfortunately we did a mistake at “Maps JavaScript API”. We´ve changed it now, but still the same problem.
Here you can see the latest settings in “GoogleCloud”

    Hi,

I’m seeing JavaScript errors on the contact page, I’m not sure if it’s related to the map though. Could you try deactivating all plugins to see if that changes anything please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,
I deactivated all plugins – the map is diplayed now, but the adress and coordinates are not showing the correct location. After activating all plugins – the map is still working!? :)

    Best regards,
    Michael

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. I’m not sure exactly what it is, but something seems to be wrong with your API key. Could you check this tutorial, to make sure everything is correct please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/google-map/#how-to-register-a-google-maps-api-key

    Hello Ricard,

I don’t know why but now it works without creating a new API. Probably Google took some time to change the settings?

Anyway – thanks for your support!

    Kind regards
    Michael

    Hi Michael,

Great, I’m glad to hear that it’s working now. I’m not sure what happened though, but let us know here if you should have any further problems.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
