    Hi

I see this error in my web console:
“Google Maps API warning: NoApiKeys https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#no-api-keys”

I do have my Google Maps API Key entered in my Enfold Google Services tab.

Can you please tell me why I would get this error.

    Thank you
    Lyse

    Hey tremblayly,
Google services like the map feature is now constrained to work with an API key. It is easy to get the Google API key please refer to this link

If you already created an API key please delete all old API key’s from google account to avoid a conflict.

While setting up the API key make sure to add * before and after the domain name without http, www or https in the URL.

    Example *.kriesi.at/*

Add your API key in the theme options Enfold > Google Services

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,

Just launch my website. However on my contact page the Google map does not load.

I followed your instructions above to the “T” and it does not work.

Here’s a screenshot of my API credentials. You will see that I have filled out the same information.

PS. I did delete the existing one, recreated my project, etc…

Any quick help would be appreciated because my contact page does not look healthy!
Here’s the website new URL: https://silviafindings.com/contact

    Thanks

    Hi,

I have exactly the same problem. I just created an API Key and it doesn’t work. I tried with or without restriction… Same result.

    Hi tremblayly

I found the solution, please go on your google dashboard and, on the top, click on “activate API”

After select “Google Maps JavaScript API”

And it should be ok !

    Let me know :)

    Hey Lyse,

Can you please create a temporary admin login and post it here privately?

    @thiib
Glad you figured it out and thanks for sharing your solution! :)

    Cheers!

    Hi Yigit,

I followed the instructions provided by Thiib, I saw the API now enabled. However, it still does not work on my contact page.

I have provided admin credentials as you asked.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I checked your site and I have added the below API key which works fine on my personal installation. You have a lot of plugin active please consider using only a few which is very important. A plugin conflict may be one of the reason for this issue.
To find which plugin is causing the conflict please follow these steps:

    1. Go to your plugins page > Deactivate all active Plugins
    2. Update WordPress and Enfold to latest version if you have not.
    3. Make sure all the plugins are updated.
    4. If the problem does not persist when plugins are turned off, activate one plugin at a time and refresh until you find the plugin in conflict.

If that does not help please try using this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/api-key-for-google-maps/

We await the results of your plugin compatibility test.

    Thanks for your cooperation :)

    Best regards,
    Vinay

    Hi Vinay,

I am testing on my staging area, but my Google Map API works fine there? I will run more test for sure and to ensure this one works before I re-activate all of the other plugins.

I know I have lots of plugins, but I need all of the them right now for specific functions. Every time someone recommends I use a plugin, I evaluate it seriously, see if there’s a work around code snippet I can use, because I don’t want to add another one.

    Thanks for the heads up!

    Hi,

If your API key is working on local it should work on live server as well. However I suspect some plugin is calling the google maps before the theme loads the API key hence it’s not working on your site. To confirm this and for testing purpose you can de-activate all active plugins and check if the maps work fine.

Strongly recommend that you shortlist the once you can remove from the 40+ plugins so in future it will be easy for you to manage the site :)

    Best regards,
    Vinay
