    Dear team,
for lots of my static pages – url example below – google shows blocked index. The sitemap is seen by google. pls ses screenshots attached

I dont´s know where / how to avoid this issue and/or which setting in the enfold panel and/or robots.txt etc I need to change.

Your help is as always much appreciated. Thx a lot & best regards, Tilman

    Hey Tilman,

The page you linked to is returning a 200 code: https://httpstatus.io/. The URL marked in your screenshot has an empty search query at the end though, that is likely why you are getting an error. You don’t really want bots indexing empty search result pages.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hey Rikard,
hm, ok – just to understand it right:
link a) below is the url which shows a result and how it should be -> right?
In comparison / contrary vs a): Which url results in an empty search result at the end? link b) below?

-> so is it ok to leave it as it is?
-> Or do I have to change edits in robots.text or so?

thx for your patience :-) / best regards Tilman

    Hi,

Yes, the second link has an empty search query at the end. I would say that it’s ok for you to leave it as it is, as the “problem” pages should not be indexed.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,
    ok, got it.

final question :-) do you know how these url appendices did find their way into the google search console – as they do not really make sense and I did not created those neither?

    thx again & cheers, Tilman

    Hi,

I’m not sure how they got added unfortunately, but I’m guessing they have been indexed since the search functionality is a link, even though you don’t actually search for anything. The search link is set to nofollow by default, but it can of course be indexed anyway. The result pages are dynamic, and they only display search results, so they’re not really “created”.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
