    Hi,

    I’m looking for help with Google Maps integration on the contact page (see private content)

    I already followed the steps under “API Key and Billing Errors/Troubleshooting”: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages I did not cover the further steps “Maps JavaScript API Error Codes for Developers and Site Owners”.

    Although I created a Google Maps API Key on the Google Cloud Plattform, it won’t be save by my Enfold Theme (“Mit diesem API-Schlüssel konnte keine Verbindung zu Google Maps hergestellt werden” – “With this API-Key no connection to Google Maps could be established.”)

    Could you please take a look at this and help me out.

    Hi Jordan,

    thank you for the link. I went through the troubleshooting steps. Removing all restrictions “helped” in so far, as the key is now accepted: https://ibb.co/179g187 Now the Google Maps Window doesn’t show the “developer-message” from before, but a grey background: https://ibb.co/Fn9sD7R

    What would you do next?

    Hi,

    Great I’m glad some progress was made! I believe Google has changed their process so the issue is likely on their side instead of Enfold. Here is a thread with some insight for consideration.

    Hi Jordan,

    thanks for the link. I’m not sure if this was really the solution, but I enabled the “Static Map API” – one of the suggestions in the post – and the map is now working.
