    Dear Enfold Support-Team,
the Google Maps Element stopped working 1 week ago. We didn’t touch the site over a month.
To fix the problem, we tried following solutions:
    – API Key without restrictions
    – API Key with restrictions suggested from the error message and the Support-Topic
    (http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-register-a-google-maps-api-key/)
    – create new Maps Element with different address.
    – Register 2 more new keys

None of the above things worked, there’s nothing left we can do as of this point to fix the problem. It’s urgent for us to get the Maps Element working again.

    Thanks for your help.

    Best regards

    Hey b3plus,

The error at this point says “RefererNotAllowedMapError”
    https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#referer-not-allowed-map-error

Did you authorize your new keys?

Maybe, you’re getting more impressions and you need to pay for it?

    Best regards,

    Hello Victoria,
Keys are autohorized correctly, as I said before in my first post, I even tried all possible variations:

To fix the problem, we tried following solutions:
    – API Key without restrictions
    – API Key with restrictions suggested from the error message and the Support-Topic
    (http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-register-a-google-maps-api-key/)
    – create new Maps Element with different address.
    – Register 2 more new keys

And no, we aren’t even at 10% of the impressions. And the Enfold Child Theme Backend Panel says the Key is connected properly.

    Hi,

Your web site needs to be under SSL to work.
Please install an SSL and it will fix your issues.

    Thank you

This can’t be the solution. Google never required SSL for the Maps API to work. And on other installations the MAPS API is working fine withous SSL.

    Hi b3plus,

The old key is hardcoded in your functions.php, delete it and test again.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hello Victoria,

thank you for your help, this solved the problem! Seems that for some reason we added Google Maps earlier another way.

    Much appreciated.

    Best regards
