Hi Enfold team,
Like https://kriesi.at/support/topic/after-update-font-not-displaying/ I have updated my site to Enfold 4.6.1 but now the google fonts do not load anymore. How can this be fixed?
Best, Ruud
The fonts (Audiowide and Lato) are applied in General Styling and Advanced Styling. By the way: the google fonts are shown in the right way in General Styling ‘A rough preview of the frontend’ but not at the frontend itself.
Hey baartmns,
You may not see the changes until the cached files are cleared in your browser.
Please perform the below steps to clear the browser cache:
1. Disable “merging and compression” for CSS and JS files from Enfold > Performance.
2. If a caching plugin is installed check the plugin settings and clear the cache and deactivate the plugins for testing purpose.
3. Hard refresh by pressing Ctrl + Shift + F5 on your browser or press the F12 key to open chrome dev tools and right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”.
I have cleared the cache for you and attached the screenshot of the same.
Best regards,
Vinay
Hi Vinay,
Thanks! I tried the proposed procedure but it did not work out.
1. Disable “merging and compression” for CSS and JS files from Enfold > Performance.
Did that.
2. If a caching plugin is installed check the plugin settings and clear the cache and deactivate the plugins for testing purpose.
There are no cache plugins insalled.
3. Hard refresh by pressing Ctrl + Shift + F5 on your browser or press the F12 key to open chrome dev tools and right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”.
Did that too, in Chrome and Safari. Google fonts still not shown:
Thanks. Now it works!
